Table lamp - Eagle - Empire - Bronze

Bronze desk lamp with dark patina, in the Neoclassical or Empire style (early 19th century).
Present an eagle with outstretched wings as the central motif, a very popular symbol of this era associated with military power and the iconography of ancient Rome (and later, Napoleon), on a base decorated with volutes.

Adapted piece for use as an electric lamp.
