Tintin T7 - L'ile noir (A5) - petite image - N&B - 1 Restored album - First edition - 1938

Tintin 1938 EO "Tintin The Black Island", Casterman Paris-Tournai edition, the only album with the mention of reporter and Hergé on the front cover. The title page has no indication of the 'mille' but features a small graphic.
First page stained with a missing section in the top left, small image glued onto the cover with a 1cm² missing area, fourth page stained, all four pages outside the text are very beautiful and like new, blue endpapers cracked at the joint.
Back Pellior, probably redone but very well redone, corners rubbed, interior very clean and fresh, notebook in very good condition, very clean and solid, no tape, inscriptions or writings, all pages are present and thick, pagination from 4 to 127.
A small missing at the bottom of page 7 and 125, a bit more significant on page 9.
Very beautiful rare album, well preserved, soon to be 88 years old, print runs 1 and 2 from 1938 = 5,900 copies.
