Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) dessert spoon in .833 silver, made by J.A.A. Gerritsen in Zeist, the Netherlands, circa 1916, with a partly pierced bowl and engraved floral decoration, a matte background, a partly ribbed handle with pearl-edge, weighing 48.5 g and measuring 6.6 x 23 cm, hallmarked with lion 2, Minerva, master mark and year letter G, in good used condition with minor signs of aging and spots.

A beautiful Jugendstil cake server, crafted with a partially openwork scoop and engraved with floral decorations on the scoop. The base of the scoop has a matte finish. The handle is partly turned and partly decorated with pearl edge detailing. Very elegant design!
