Steel table lamp designed by Luis Perez de la Oliva, model Boomerang 2000, made in Spain, from the 1960s, in working order, dimensions 42 cm high, 30 cm wide, 57 cm deep, weight 7.5 kg, suitable for two E-27 bulbs with a diffuser glass, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Table lamp manufactured in 1969 by the brand FASE, model Boomerang 2000 in red and old gold color in good condition.
Red (maroon) painted metal shade with a ball joint for adjusting the light to different positions. Antique gold (or mustard) colored steel arm with an arched shape, attached to a mustard-colored weighted base, allowing 360-degree rotation. Operates with two E-27 bulbs protected by a light-diffusing glass.
It retains almost all its original elements: glass, paint, etc. Only the push-button switch has been replaced by a professional. The lamp has been inspected and internally rewired by a professional electrician so that it can last another 50 years.
This lamp is one of the first Boomerang 2000 lamps to hit the market: they didn't have the plastic screw that held the central crown (but a metal one) and the switch wasn't square (but a button).
The lamp is an original vintage item from 1964 and, as can be seen in the photos, it shows signs of age, including paint marks, surface scratches, and other imperfections. Otherwise, it is in good condition despite its 60-year history. The original glass diffuser is in perfect condition: no cracks or scratches. Please review the photographs carefully as they form part of the product description.
As a curiosity, these lamps are so curious and iconic that they have appeared in many famous series and movies: Bohemian Rhapsody, The Queen’s Gambit, etc...
Shipments outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties. Buyers outside the European Union will be responsible for any taxes, customs fees, or tariffs incurred due to the export of the lamp.
