This 'Renaulution' relies on a simple concept: neo-retro, essentially 'making new with old.' This involves producing a new 100% electric Renault 5. To persuade the public to switch to electric, Renault aims to capitalize on its past glories. Thus, the R5 is the first to be 'reviewed and revised.' This is how the Renault 5 e-tech electric prototype was presented in the fall of 2021. It previews what the new R5, to be marketed around 2024, will look like.
