These are a pair of theatre binoculars Aldon made by G. Rodenstock. The German company G. Rodenstock, based in Monaco, produced these compact binoculars, often around 3x magnification, during the 1940s and 1950s.
These vintage binoculars typically feature a black finish with elegant inlays, in this case with a red and gold decorative pattern. They are designed to be compact and stylish, ideal for
use at theater or opera
N2
This is a Carl Zeiss Diadem theater binocular. These vintage binoculars were produced both by Carl Zeiss and by Hensoldt Wetzlar (a company later absorbed by Zeiss) and are known for their elegant design, often with gold finishes and black bodies. Second half of the 20th century.
N3
This is a vintage theater binoculars, probably made in Russia (USSR), produced around the 1950s-1970s. It is a classic accessory used for performances, characterized by its compact design and materials such as ivory-colored bakelite and brass details.
N4
The 'Mignon 2.5X' model is part of a category of compact theater binoculars, often produced in Japan during the post-war period (around the 1950s-1960s).
A very rare piece with great historical value.
All four are part of my personal collection, all functioning, with their cases, and kept meticulously.
