Description from the seller

Moche rare canchero or corn popper. Lentoid-shaped pottery dipping vessel having rounded bottom and incurving shoulder with opening at top. Decorated with the figure of a jaguar over a crescent moon, four 10 pointed stars and two 7 pointed stars.. A slender, curved handle with pointed ending. Painted in white slip over orange-brown ground. | Moche, Peru. 400-500 A.C.

Dimensions: 27,50 x 17,00 cm.

Condition: Small surface wear and two small holes on the body. Overall good condition.

Provenance: Ex A.A Private Collection - Asturias, Spain. Through inheritance from his father R.A.


Notes:
- The piece includes authenticity certificate. The piece is in the process of obtaining the renewal of the export license ( Passport for European Union).
This process can take between 2 and 4 weeks.
- If the piece goes outside the European Union a new export license will
be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
