Moche ceramic florero vessel, 22.5 × 35.5 cm, professionally restored and repainted, with TL test and Spanish export license, dating to 400–700 AD and originating from a private Asturias collection.

A rare mochica bichrome pottery "florero vessel". The inside decorated with prisoners with ropes tied to necks walking into a desert landscape with cactus. The outside decorated with plants, another prisoner and the figure of a priest with a ceremonial tumi from which a serpent is born, situated next to a large mythological serpent. The piece has a hollow pedestal base with a few small openings, filled with ceramic pellets that make a ratting sound when the vessel is shaken. Includes thermoluminescence certificate. Moche. North coast of Peru. 400-700 AD.

Condition Report: Profesionally restored and repainted over fracture lines in the neck and body. Good condition
