Bronze signed plaque depicting Mary with Jesus and John.
Ferdinand Barbedienne was a French entrepreneur, founder of an industrial bronze foundry. Barbedienne was from Calvados but moved to Paris at a young age to learn a trade.
Born August 6, 1810, in Saint-Martin-de-Fresnay, and died March 21, 1892, in Paris.
