Decorative Jugendstil mustard pot made of stoneware, designed by Richard Riemerschmid around 1902 for Merkelbach & Co.
Typical rounded shape with a surrounding dotted and wavy band decoration. The upper part is glazed in deep cobalt blue, while the lower part has a gray-blue glaze with fine craquelure, featuring an original tin handle lid.
