Description from the seller

Beautiful pair of antique street lamps in TIN – Signed Falot – Late 19th century – Putti – Louis XV style

Very beautiful pair of candelabra in solid pewter, richly decorated, dating from the late 19th century (circa 1880–1900).
Each candelabrum is adorned with a putto/angelot, a rocaille base with dynamic movement, and scrolls typical of the Louis XV style.

The two pieces are signed Falot under the base (signature partially erased but clearly identifiable by the initial of the name), also with an original mold number.

The tin is superbly crafted: sharp reliefs, beautiful depth of carving, and significant weight.

Features :

Solid (authentic) tin material

Period: around 1880–1900

Signature: Falot (visible under the base, beginning perfectly legible “Fa…”)

Decor: Putti / Angelots – Rocaille – Louis XV

Old assembly: threaded rod + square nut from the 19th century.

Patina: grayish, homogeneous, recently non-polished.

Condition: very good vintage condition.

Small signs of normal aging

slightly worn patina

solid and stable structure

Remarks:

The tin pieces signed Falot are less common than those in régule.
The presence of the signature and mold numbering indicates genuine workshop production, not a modern copy.

Decorative chandeliers sought for:

their quality of sculpture

their material (tin → of higher quality than régule)

their decor with putti

Condition & Shipping

Each lamp post will be protected separately + double packaging.
