Description from the seller
Exceptionally signed copy by Raffaele Bassotto on the title page, unavailable in signed copies. 70 pages and 52 full-color photographs printed on full pages outside the text. At the end of the book, a presentation text about the Dolci family, who founded this color manufacturing factory in 1910. Illustrated soft cover with flaps.
To view the photographic series in full screen, double-click on a photograph, then you can return to the standard display at any time.
After the Second World War, the province of Verona had 20 units of colored land production, but the Dolci family factory is the only one that has survived to this day, adapting to technological advancements. These photographs highlight this industrial heritage while playing with the many colors present on the site's equipment.
Brothers Enzo (born in 1938) and Raffaello (born in 1946) Bassotto began their joint photographic activity in the late seventies with an important book titled 'Borgo nuovo' about an underprivileged neighborhood in Verona. They produced numerous reports, organized significant exhibitions, notably on industrial heritage, and published around twenty books together.
