Description from the seller
The “Three Kings” (Tre Re) figurines, designed by Massimo Giacon in collaboration with Laura Polinoro (LPWK) for Alessi, are a playful and modern take on the traditional Nativity scene. Giacon's signature cartoonish style brings the Three Kings to life with vibrant colors, rounded shapes, and expressive details, infusing them with charm and humor. Collaborating with Polinoro, a visionary in conceptual design, the figurines strike a perfect balance between artistic creativity and Alessi's high standards of craftsmanship.
Made from hand-decorated porcelain, they showcase meticulous attention to detail and durability. While rooted in the classic Nativity narrative, these designs reinterpret tradition with a contemporary twist, making them ideal for modern holiday decor. Part of Alessi's seasonal collections, the "Three Kings" are both decorative and collectible, embodying the brand's commitment to blending tradition with playful innovation.

Creation process:
Each figurine is a hand-painted unique piece.
Carefully heated at 800°C, the porcelain acquires a mirror-smooth surface and becomes very hard so that no cracking or crazing can occur. In a traditional porcelain painting, each figure is lovingly decorated with cheerful colors. This is done entirely by hand, with a brush and not with a standard layer of foil. Each figure is therefore slightly different and unmistakably unique.
