This beautiful Art Deco cheese dome (also usable as a butter dish) was produced by the crystal and glass factory Val-Saint-Lambert, Belgium. The designers of this cheese dome are Charles Graffart and Joseph Simon.
The cheese dome is part of the 'Luxval' collection, model 'Eclat', and is listed in the 1935 catalog. The last photos show the dome in the 1935 catalog.
This cheese dome is also located in the Design Museum Gent. Of course, a cheese dome can also be used as a butter dish.
The cheese dome is a beautiful state without chips or similar items!
