Silver beugelbeurs with a silver frame and a bag lined with glass beads, dating to ca. 1870–1890, made in the Netherlands, weighing 70.1 g with an 835/1000 fineness, dimensions 7.8 × 10 cm, stamped Lion 2 and Minerva, silversmith unknown, in good used condition.
Description from the seller
Beautiful clasp purse with a silver handle decorated with Biedermeier motifs. The bag is lined with glass beads and features an inner pocket; this appears to have been added later and conceals an additional internal clasp for a compartment with two sections.
Origin: the Netherlands
Silversmith: Unknown maker
Year: approx. 1870-1890
