Description from the seller
General
What a beauty this Brazilian Volkswagen T1 Samba de luxe van from 1971 is, with 23 windows, a convertible roof, open Safari windows, and a beautiful new interior. Check out the more than 100 photos and see for yourself!
Stylish colour combination of Velvet Green with Lotus white roof and chrome details.
Carrosserie / Lakwerk
This original VW T1 from Brazil was fully restored and repainted in two-tone by an experienced T1 workshop in Brazil last winter. It's not an original Samba, but a beautiful Samba replica with all the details and sunroofs. The bus has been completely repainted in the luxurious color combination "Velvet Green with a Lotus White roof." The black stripes, two-tone rims, and chrome details complete this bus! The chassis, axles, and doors have even been painted in the same color. The interior of the bus has also been completely repainted.
technical
This T1 has the familiar air-cooled 1500 cc engine with 4 cylinders. The engine starts and runs well, and the transmission works well.
INTERIOR:
Inside, a completely new interior has been installed. Completely new upholstery, new curtains, a new headliner, new side panels, new seats, sun visors, and of course, a new sunroof. The seats are beautifully upholstered in a combination of white faux leather, chrome details, and black piping (matching the exterior). The front windows are pop-up Samba windows, meaning they can be opened. A new, original chrome Volkswagen logo is on the front, along with original VW rims with chrome hubcaps and color-matched rims. The curtains, whitewall tires, and double-roof roof rack complete this van. Even the VW logo on the roof rack is there!
Documents
This van was imported from Brazil and still has its Brazilian license plate. All import duties have been paid, and the customs documents and Brazilian registration certificate are included. You must register the van yourself in your country for admission.
Other Information
Before the van is "road-ready," some modifications and repairs will need to be made to meet all European requirements. We therefore recommend allowing for an additional 10% (approximate). This is a private sale, so the warranty does not apply. The van must be picked up within 14 days of the auction.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
