FASE lamp, model 520 C, in gold/amber, with a metal shade on a swiveling joint for orientation and an adjustable chrome arm mounted on a weighted gold base, measuring 60 cm deep, 30 cm wide and 40 cm high, designed by Luis Perez de la Oliva in Spain dating from 1960–1970, powered by two E27 bulbs with a glass diffuser, in working order despite signs of wear and possible minor parts missing.
Description from the seller
FASE lamp, model 520 C, in gold (or mustard) color
Metal screen with a painted gold old (or mustard) color ball joint for orientation, allowing the light to be varied in different positions, and the lamp's size to be shortened or extended. Chrome steel arm with curved lines attached to a weighted base in gold color. It operates with two E-27 bulbs protected by a light diffuser glass. It is functioning correctly. For safety reasons, it is recommended that the lamp be checked by a local electrician.
It is a piece over 50 years old and, therefore, shows signs of aging that can be seen in the photos: scratches, a small impact on the base, and signs on the chrome. The original diffuser glass is in perfect condition: free of 'hairs,' scratches, and retains its transparency. Please carefully review the photographs, as they are part of the product description.
The Fase 520c is an icon of Spanish industrial design from the 60s and 70s, not only for its undeniable aesthetic beauty but also because it has been used countless times by art directors in the film world as props in numerous Spanish and international films: it is the lamp in the office of mayors Ruth Jahns and Bernard Holland in the series 'Silo', and has appeared in Dr. House, Ragnarok, Money Heist, Midsomer Murders, etc.
Shipments outside the EU may incur customs charges. The seller will not pay customs duties for countries outside the European Union. Buyers outside the European Union are responsible for any customs and importation fees that may apply.
