Medium format camera (6×6) with the high-quality Yashinon 80mm f/3.5 taking lens and Yashikor viewing lens.
The Yashica-Mat is known for its reliability, smooth operation, and excellent optical quality, and is often seen as an affordable alternative to the Rolleiflex.
It concerns the model with Copal-MXV shutter (B – 1/500s), synchronization for M/X, and self-timer.
Condition of the product
Body
In very good cosmetic condition with normal signs of use on the edges.
Complete covering; no loose parts.
Finder opens well; frosted glass is clearly visible.
Optiek
Taking lens: Yashinon 80mm f/3.5.
Viewing lens: Yashikor 80mm.
Glass shows light particles but no visible mold or large haze.
The coating on the front side looks neat (see photos).
Mechanics
Auto-focus works smoothly with the large focus button.
Transport handle operates correctly and builds up voltage.
The shutter fires at all positions; longer times sound realistic but have not been precisely tested for speed.
Diaphragm lamella clean, opens/closes well.
Self-timer not tested.
Zoeker
Frosted glass, clear image.
Pop-up loupe present and functional.
Accessories
Original double lens cap.
