Ancient Roman Silver Antoninianus Pendant – Circa 3rd Century AD – 19 mm, 2 g
A genuine ancient Roman silver Antoninianus, dating to around the 3rd century AD, beautifully preserved and now mounted in a modern sterling silver pendant.
The obverse features a finely detailed portrait of a Roman emperor wearing a radiate crown, surrounded by a Latin inscription — typical of the silver Antoninianus, a denomination first introduced in the mid-3rd century AD to represent two denarii.
