Description from the seller
Minimalist and Deconstructed Design
Empty Field: The most distinctive feature is the wide ivory/beige color field, left almost empty. This creates a minimalist and airy aesthetic, highly appreciated in modern decor.
Scattered and Stylized Motifs: Instead of a dense and interconnected design, here we find a few scattered geometric motifs, almost as if they are floating on the field. We recognize stylized elements taken from tribal tradition (small medallions, hook-shaped forms), but they are decontextualized and used as graphic accents.
Arrow Elements: The red motifs in the shape of arrows or stems are a strong and modern design element that sets the rhythm and provides a focal point for the rug.
Colors: The palette is extremely sophisticated and typical of this high-end production.
The field is dominated by neutral and natural shades of uncolored or lightly vegetable-dyed wool (ivory, beige, sand).
The motives are created with soft colors (brown, taupe) and a bright red used as a point of chromatic contrast.
Color variations in the field (abrash) are intentional and achieved through the use of hand-spun wool and natural dyes, which impart depth and a unique appearance to the piece.
Structure and Materials
Hand-tied: The back confirms the manual craftsmanship.
High-quality wool: The shine of the fleece and the richness of the color shades suggest the use of excellent quality wool, probably Ghazni wool or at least mountain wool spun by hand, very durable and luminous.
Solid structure: The back weave appears regular and compact, indicating a well-made and durable rug. The warp (fringe) is made of cotton.
