Letter signed by Charles II of Savoy or Charles III known as the Good, to Sieur de Longecombe.
Written in brown ink on a sheet of watermarked laid paper. With its red wax seal.
The duke addresses his 'very dear, well-loved, and faithful counselor and chamberlain,' the lord of Longecombe, a figure attested within the Savoyard circle in the 16th century. The text concerns a journey and an advice or order to be conveyed, according to the administrative customs of the ducal chancery.
