Discoceratites semipartitus? is an uncommon Triassic ammonite (specimen) with distinctive sutural lines from the Upper Triassic Muschelkalk, Natural condition; weight 1.1 kg, height 19 cm.

Name: Discoceratites semipartitus ? (the original label says D. semipartitus "juvenile")
Age: Trias, Muschelkalk
Provenance: Villingen-Schwenningen, Allemagne
The ammonite itself measures 19 cm. The specimen weighs 1.1 kg. Note the beautiful lines of sutures and the presence of the living chamber. (It has some lateral compression)
It is one of the less common Ceratites species.
