Description from the seller
Brass Kettle with Ornate Stand & Spirit Burner – Victorian Revival – Mid-20th Century – Unused Condition
A beautifully crafted brass kettle presented with its original ornate stand and spirit burner, forming a complete and harmoniously matched set. The kettle remains in unused condition, its interior immaculate and its polished exterior displaying finely engraved floral motifs. The elegantly curved spout and sculptural handle give the piece a distinguished, almost ceremonial presence characteristic of mid-century British decorative metalwork.
The accompanying stand is designed in a graceful Victorian-revival style, with flowing decorative legs that support the kettle securely above the matching spirit burner. The burner, also unused, features a hinged wick cover and elongated handle and sits perfectly in the stand. The entire ensemble has a bright, warm finish with only the faintest signs of storage, and all components function exactly as intended.
Crafted in mid-20th-century Britain, this set draws on traditional 19th-century design while exhibiting the crisp casting and high-quality finishing associated with British brassware workshops of the period. Complete sets in this condition are increasingly scarce and make a superb decorative feature or collector’s piece.
