Massage stones, agate zebrate – selected specimens with natural bands and pastel tones, weight 1251 g, dimensions 55 × 55 × 55 mm, origin Madagascar.
Description from the seller
These specimens come from layered siliceous formations where the rhythmic deposition of silica has created natural bands of remarkable regularity. Striped agates are known for their thin, layered structure, with alternating colors and densities: transitions from warm cream to beige, from pearly gray to soft greens, up to sandy shades reminiscent of sedimentary cuts.
Each piece shows slow growth, resulting from the overlay of micro-layers of chalcedony. This layering, typical of volcanic cavities and secondary siliceous veins, creates an elegant, clean, almost graphic linear pattern. Some specimens display wavy bands or subtle transitional shades, indicating variations in the flow of silica solutions during formation.
Polishing highlights the depth of the bands, the fineness of the weave, and the alternation between more compact areas and slightly more translucent zones. These agates are suitable for both collection and creative use: balanced, understated pieces with a refined visual presence.
A carefully curated selection for those who appreciate natural materials that tell their own story through the structure, not just through color.
