Appearance

There are several signs of wear and minor scratches. However, considering its age, the lens has been well kept and remains in good overall condition.

Optics

There are several small marks on the front element surface and minor dust inside the lens. Under normal lighting the optics appear very clear, but when inspected with a strong professional light, minor fungus and very thin haze can be seen. All of these are common age-related characteristics and do not affect image quality or cause any visible artifacts.
We inspect lenses using extremely strong professional lighting that would be unsafe to view directly, allowing us to describe optical conditions more accurately than typical sellers.

Operation

The zoom ring produces slightly louder operating noise, but the lens is fully functional and works properly.
