Blake et Mortimer display: about 150 cm high, double-sided printed on sturdy cardboard.
Unique set of two original promotional editions from Dupuis publishing, both designed for the launch of new albums in Jean Van Hamme's series.
1. Largo Winch – large promotional poster from 1994, drawn by Philippe Francq, featuring the young billionaire casually leaning against a wall.
Only intended for use in comic shops, never sold commercially.
2. Blake et Mortimer – tall shop display (about 1.50m), double-sided printed, featuring Blake on a motorcycle, announcing 'New Album – November 20 in bookstores.'
Also published by Dupuis around 2000 for the release of a new album in the series, drawn by René Sterne and Chantal De Spiegeleer.
Both pieces are true eye catchers for any collector of Franco-Belgian comic art or for a stylish presentation in interior design or gallery settings.
Condition: very well preserved, vivid colors, light signs of use consistent with age (not framed).
Origin: old comic book store distribution Belgium.
