Manufacturer information
This plastic model kit set to assemble includes six American soldiers from World War II (two non-commissioned officers and four infantrymen) in a variety of dynamic battle poses. These figures are depicted wearing authentic M1941 and M1943 field jackets and canvas leggings. The tense battle situation is clearly visible through the expressions of the models, such as the non-commissioned officers giving instructions to their men while awaiting the order to attack. Weapons like the M1 Garand rifles and the Thompson machine gun feature a sharp, realistic finish.

- The M3 and M5 Stuart were light tanks produced in the United States during World War II. The M3 was used in large numbers during Operation Torch, the landings on the Algerian and Moroccan coasts towards the end of 1942. In this theater of operations, the M3 made up the bulk of the armored forces. After the disastrous Battle of Kasserine Pass, where they clashed with German tanks, the U.S. Army decided to disband its light tank battalions and to incorporate a company of these tanks within medium tank battalions. The role assigned to the M3, and later to the M5, was to serve as reconnaissance or support vehicles.
However, in the European theater of war, the M3/M5 always played a secondary role because it proved unable to fight on equal terms with the tanks used there.
In the Pacific, the Stuart proved more than adequate for its role. The peculiar characteristics of this front, with a relative scarcity of enemy tanks and anti-tank weapons, made it suitable for supporting infantry. The Stuart M5A1 was equipped with a 7.62 mm caliber machine gun mounted coaxially with the cannon, and another on the front part of the hull. A second 7.62 mm machine gun was mounted on the right side of the turret on a foldable mount behind a bulky shield, and sometimes this machine gun was replaced with a 12.7 mm Browning M2HB, which had greater stopping power and penetrating ability.
- Note: I place great importance on the correct description and good photos of the lot. Photos are part of the lot's description and provide much information about the lot, including its condition and completeness. I always recommend studying the numerous photos carefully. Photos always take precedence over the written text.
Photographs of the models already assembled and painted are for illustrative purposes only.
Additional costs will be applied to non-continental destinations, including islands and overseas territories.
