Description from the seller
Side table - raised coffee table - plant table
This type of furniture is an example of the Dutch Art Deco style.
It is an Art Deco Amsterdamse School side table made of oak wood. This style is characterized by expressive and abstract forms, clean lines, and geometric elements.
The table probably dates from the 1920s to the 1940s.
The design is both simple and artistic, with four sturdy, straight legs that come together in a cross-shaped base. The connections under the round top contribute to the solid construction and aesthetics.
The round table top has a diameter of 61 cm, and the height of the table is 60 cm.
The top appears to be oak veneer, and the frame is made of solid oak.
The table has been stained and darkened with oil or wax. Beautiful patterns are visible as a result.
The four legs and the frame are in the distinctive architectural style of the Amsterdam School.
Connect the pin hole in the uprights, use flat screw head screws, and nail the bottom cross.
Very sturdy table, a solid piece of craftsmanship.
After a lifetime, a table shows signs of use; a dimple and a scratch are included, giving it a lived-in appearance. There is no break or damage such as missing parts or broken pieces.
You can see in the photos that there are signs of use, which correspond to the age of the table. The table has always been well maintained with a wash or oil.
Please examine the photos carefully, as they are part of the description.
The table has different shipping costs due to its size. There is one carrier through whom it can be offered at the lowest shipping cost. The table will be shipped well-packaged and insured. If you are from the Netherlands, I would be happy to offer you the opportunity to pick up the table.
