Alessi Plissé thermo-insulated jug designed by Michele De Lucchi (2020+), produced in Italy from thermoplastic resin with an internal double-walled thermal glass container, 100 cl capacity, dimensions 32 cm high by 11 cm wide by 20 cm deep, in as new condition with original packaging.
Description from the seller
This Plissé Thermo Insulated Jug is a striking object that brings both elegance and functionality to any table. Designed by Michele De Lucchi, it draws inspiration from the iconic Plissé form, celebrated for its cheerful and festive spirit. Originating from the fashions of the 1950s and 60s, when pleated skirts created stunning floaty effects, the Plissé remains a contemporary symbol of movement and sophistication.
De Lucchi believes that objects should have formal, aesthetic, and symbolic meaning, and be evocative even when not in use. This jug perfectly embodies that philosophy: it is as visually captivating as it is practical, making it a sculptural presence that fills space even when empty.
The jug features a thermoplastic resin cap and an internal double-walled thermal glass container. A stainless steel button on the cap opens and closes the drink dispenser, while a recessed button above the handle releases the internal container for easy cleaning or refilling. Lightweight and easy to use, this jug combines high performance with an elegant, sculptural design that makes it suitable for both home and office.
