Elegant and timeless set of 24 silver-plated knives by Ercuis, France, in the classic Filet — a refined early-20th-century design inspired by traditional Chippendale contours.
This model is characterised by:
a flat lower terminal with three discreet lobes
a restrained Chippendale filework border
a smooth, elegant handle without heavy rocaille decoration
A sober and versatile pattern, long produced by Ercuis but rarely seen in complete knife sets.
12 table knives – approx. 24.5 cm
12 dessert / entremet / breakfast knives – approx. 20.5 cm
Stainless steel (inox) blades and silver-plated handles.
The blades are stamped “Ercuis Inox”, and the handles carry the authentic Ercuis OE + centaur hallmark, together with the “15 G” plating code.

Founded in 1867, Ercuis is one of France’s leading luxury silverware manufacturers. Known for fine craftsmanship, rich silver plating and elegant French design, the house supplied prestigious hotels, restaurants and ocean liners such as the Normandie.
