Description from the seller
This extraordinary specimen comes from India and is composed of elegant white stilbite crystals associated with spectacular aggregates of deep blue cavansite. Stilbite, belonging to the zeolite group, appears in fan-shaped lamellar crystals of pearly white color, often translucent, arranged in radial aggregates that give the piece a light and shiny texture. Conversely, cavansite manifests in small, needle-like rosettes of bright turquoise color, whose chromatic contrast creates a highly impactful visual effect.
The cavities of the sample offer a perfect natural showcase for crystallization, with cavansite growing among the stilbite structures like a floral explosion. These formations commonly originate in the secondary basalts rich in zeolites from the Maharashtra region, known for producing some of the best specimens in the world.
From a collectible and decorative perspective, this combination is particularly sought after for its balance between aesthetics and rarity. Symbolically, cavansite is considered a stone of inner truth and intuition, while stilbite is appreciated for its calming and meditative energy.
