Three modular vintage plastic cube modules with smoky brown acrylic doors in a Space-Age 1970s design, made in Germany and dating from circa 1960–1970, each 92 cm wide, 31 cm high and 17 cm deep, offered in good used condition with minor signs of age and with doors that can open left or right.
Description from the seller
This modular vintage cube set consists of three original plastic modules in the typical Space-Age design of the 1970s. The cubes are finished in a warm beige tone and are complemented by tinted, smoky brown acrylic folding doors, which give the ensemble an elegant, futuristic appearance.
Each module features an internal shelf and offers practical storage space. The doors open sideways and are equipped with original plastic hinges and metal elements. Characteristic are the softly rounded corners and the clear, geometric proportions – a classic feature of the international plastic and system design of that time.
The modules can be used flexibly: stacked as a narrow tall cabinet, placed side by side as a lowboard, or used individually as wall-mounted or freestanding modules. This makes them ideal for living, working, or commercial spaces.
The condition is generally good and well-maintained. There are slight, age-related signs of use that emphasize the authentic vintage character. No cracks or structural damage – stable, functional, and ready to use immediately.
The doors can be optionally opened to the left or right; they only need to be mounted accordingly by rotating them.
This rare, decorative set impresses with its strong 70s character and offers high collector and design potential.
