The ruby is predominantly opaque to slightly translucent and exhibits a clearly recognizable crystalline structure with sharp-edged, well-defined faces. Notably, the high color saturation gives the crystal a strong visual impact even under diffuse light. Under UV light, the ruby shows pronounced red fluorescence, a classic feature of chromiferous rubies, which further enhances the color intensity and underscores the quality of the material.
