The Estampes of Pieter Bruegel the Elder is a special edition limited to 250 copies published by Fonds Mercator (Antwerp) in 1976 in a large 39 x 52 cm format, bound as loose sheets in a brown cloth case and including 95 plates on thick paper (90 original and 5 reproductions) with a preface and a catalogue raisonné.

Preface by Herman Liebaers, former chief curator of the Royal Library Albert I
Introduction of Louis Lebeer, honorary curator of the prints department at the Albert I Royal Library.
- 95 plates on loose sheets on thick paper: 90 plates in original print + 5 plates in reproductions (of very good quality). The reproductions bear the numbers 29, 68, 69, 91, and 94.
Catalogue Raisonné by Louis Lebeer.
The boards and the box set are in very good condition.
Pieter Bruegel the Elder lived between 1525-1530 and around 1569. This publication was made to mark the 400th anniversary of the artist's death.
