Two Isocele tables designed by Max Sauze for Atrow, made in France in the 1970s; metal and glass, large 46 × 46 × 40 cm and small 32 × 32 × 30 cm, both in excellent condition with minimal signs of wear, one glass plate has a tiny chip on the underside corner.
Description from the seller
Beautiful delicate table mat 'Isocele' by metal master Max Sauze from the 1970s.
The delicate struts have an impression of fine pencil strokes and make the glass panels appear to float in their frame.
Dreamlike beautiful and timeless.
The Algerian-French master of metal Max Sauze was born in 1933 in Algiers. He studied at the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts d’Alger (1953-56) and the École Camondo in Paris (1956-59). Shortly thereafter, he began implementing his own designs in a small art workshop in Algiers.
In 1968, Sauze founded his eponymous company for working with aluminum, with a focus on dynamic, sculptural lighting. His designs often include bent and linked aluminum strips on structures made of steel wire. It is said that this manufacturing process is based on Sauze's spiritual outlook and the inherently repetitive nature of life.

A glass table has a tiny chip on one corner at the underside; otherwise, the tables are in very good condition.
Since we deal with vintage furniture, signs of wear are unavoidable and part of the nature of used items. We therefore only point out major flaws and damages with separate pictures. Nevertheless, we always strive to capture the condition of the objects as accurately as possible in good conscience.
The goods are subject to the margin scheme according to § 25a of the UStG, and VAT is not shown on the invoice.
