The glasses have a pure cylindrical shape.
No steel. No decor. Only form, mass, and light.

From milky transparent to warm amber.
The surface appears lively due to subtle air inclusions.
This set breathes calmness, discipline, and modernist thinking.
Glass as sculpture
Functional and artistic at the same time.

Designer
Napoleone Martinuzzi is considered one of the most important innovators within Italian glass design of the first half of the twentieth century.
He worked as an artistic director and designer at Venini and brought about a radical shift.
No decoration to decorate.
Focus on form, volume, and light effects.
These glasses directly align with his design philosophy.
Strong. Monumental. Timeless.

Technique – pulegoso
The glasses are made of pulegoso glass.
A complex technique involving deliberately trapping air in molten glass.
The bubble structures arise during blowing.
Not added afterwards.
Every bell captures light in its own way.
This is why each glass subtly differs in character.
No two are exactly the same.
This technique was primarily applied to artistic objects and limited productions in the 1940s.
