This silver coin was minted by the Royal Australian Mint. On July 21, 1969, about 600 million television viewers watched the first man on the Moon. Most of these incredible images were shared with the world by two Australian radio antennas in Honeysuckle Creek, ACT, and Parkes in New South Wales. This special silver coin, with a face value of 1 silver dollar in 2019, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 spacecraft landing on the Moon.
The coin is original and has a protective cap.
