Sony TA-242 solid state amplifier with accompanying ST-242L analog tuner.

Beautiful vintage hi-fi set with aluminum front panels from Sony's golden years.

The TA-242 delivers a tight, warm, and punchy sound with its 2 x 22 watts of continuous power. This is characteristic of amplifiers from this period.

The amplifier is equipped with beautiful red glowing LED VU meters.

Equipped with the following connection options: 2 sets of speakers, tape monitor, tuner, and a properly functioning phono stage for connecting a turntable.

The set has been thoroughly cleaned both internally and externally and is truly in perfect condition. Only minor signs of use. The tuner has a small damage on top of the cover. Please see the photos for reference.

The set has been thoroughly tested and everything functions as it should, without crackling buttons or potentiometers.

The ST-242L tuner offers crystal-clear FM stereo reception, even with a simple wire as an antenna. It features 3 bands: FM, MW, and LW.

The beautiful aluminium brushed fronts with aluminium knobs, combined with the atmospheric dial lighting in the tuner and the red LED VU meters, give this set a stunning vintage appearance.

Set is supplied including the necessary cinch connection cable.
