Hunting trophy

Spectacular exceptionally large bull horn mounted on a wooden stand shaped like an ancient classical column base, made in England in the second half of the 19th century, presumably as a hunting trophy. The original gilded chased and inlaid bronze trim is still present, along with the typical red velvet ribbon characteristic of late 19th-century Victorian English craftsmanship. Unique piece, in very good condition, very rare given its enormous size and therefore of great value. Dimensions: height 112 cm (including base), base 22x22 cm, total volume depth of the horn 33 cm, considering that the horn, being curved, is wider by 11 cm from the projection of the base.
