Description from the seller
I offer this dish in enamelled cast iron from the 'La Mama' collection, designed by Italian designer Enzo Mari.
This iconic model is distinguished by its bold, functional, and timeless shapes, characteristic of Enzo Mari's radical and utilitarian design approach.
The dish is presented in a beautiful deep red hue. Please note: visible signs of use in the bottom of the pan, as well as a very small chip located on one of the handle corners, a common defect on this model due to its design (see photos). These marks remain minor and do not affect the durability or cooking qualities of the piece.

About Enzo Mari
Enzo Mari (1932–2020) is a major figure in 20th-century design. An advocate of honest, functional, and durable design, he created objects where form derives exclusively from use. The 'La Mama' collection perfectly illustrates this philosophy: sturdy pieces designed for daily kitchen use, which have now become true icons of domestic design.
About Le Creuset
French family-owned company, Le Creuset is recognized worldwide for the quality of its enameled cast iron pieces. Each dish is designed to provide even heat distribution, excellent thermal inertia, and exceptional durability. Models resulting from collaborations with renowned designers, such as Enzo Mari, hold a special place in the brand's history.
The advantages of enameled cast iron.
The enameled source guarantees even and controlled cooking, ideal for stews, roasts, gratins, and oven cooking. Extremely durable, it is designed to last for decades and be passed down from generation to generation, while maintaining its performance and character.
This 'La Mama' dish is both a high-performance cooking utensil, a signed design object, and an iconic piece of 1970s culinary design.
