Rare silver denier struck in Leuven under the regency of Aleydis of Bourgondië after the death of Duke Hendrik III of Brabant in 1261. Aleydis was the widow of Hendrik III and governed the duchy on behalf of her minor children until her son Jan I took over in 1267.
