Description from the seller

I am offering this Le Creuset set consisting of two covered-handled pieces, dating from the early 1960s, in the typical orange color of that period.

This versatile set stands out for its clever design: one of the two elements can be used as both a pan and a baking dish, on the flame or in the oven.

The set is in very good overall condition for its age. Notable: some visible marks on the bottom of the dishes, indicating past use, as well as wear from use under the handles and on the outer edge of the lid (see photos). These marks remain consistent with the age of the pieces and do not compromise their durability or their excellent cooking qualities.

About Le Creuset – 1960s
Le Creuset productions from the early 1960s are particularly sought after for the quality of their cast iron and the intensity of their colors. This period marks the rise of functional and modular shapes, designed for everyday use both on stovetops and in the oven.
These multifunctional sets showcase French craftsmanship and the brand's sustainable approach, where each piece is designed to last for several generations.

The advantages of enameled cast iron.
Enameled cast iron ensures even heat distribution and excellent thermal inertia, making it ideal for simmering, searing, roasting, or baking. Durable and resistant, it maintains its performance despite decades of use and can be easily passed down from generation to generation.

This Le Creuset set is both a high-performance cooking utensil, a beautiful vintage object, and a representative piece of French culinary history.

Protective and careful shipping
Kind regards
