The PreSonus FireStudio Project is a 10x10 FireWire audio interface with eight XMAX Class A microphone preamps and a resolution of 24-bit/96 kHz. It is designed for project studios and offers versatile I/O options and zero-latency monitoring.
Main features
Connectivity uses FireWire 400 ports for data transfer to a computer.
In and out connections offer eight combo microphone/line inputs (channels 1-2 also support instruments), 10 balanced line outputs, S/PDIF, and MIDI I/O.
Preamplifiers equipped with Class A XMAX technology, featuring high headroom for clear sound.
Compatibility note: PreSonus has discontinued driver support for Windows 11 and Apple M1/M2 native systems, but support still exists for older systems such as Windows 10 and Intel-based Macs up to macOS 10.14.6 Mojave.
Scalability: multiple units can be connected into a larger system.
