Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A very rare lemurian quartz twin-crystal specimen with black tourmaline and cubic calcite, originating from Brazil, weighing 113.19 g.
Description from the seller
This extraordinary mineral specimen combines several geologically and visually highly interesting elements into an impressive natural composition. At its center is a distinctive lemurian quartz, formed as a twin crystal, which immediately catches the eye with its clear yet powerful presence. The typical, finely developed growth structures give the quartz a lively depth effect and emphasize its special character.
Between and on the quartz crystals sits black tourmaline (schorl) in a slender, vertical formation. The dark, prismatic crystals create an intriguing contrast to the light, partly transparent quartz and significantly enhance the piece's graphic impact. This combination is complemented by cubic calcite, whose blocky, clearly defined shapes add further structure and mineralogical diversity to the ensemble.
The natural arrangement of the crystals appears dynamic and at the same time balanced – nothing seems artificial or arranged; rather, the piece conveys the impression of a frozen growth process. Small color nuances, fine inclusions, and natural contact zones tell of the complex formation history of this rare find.
Overall, this specimen is an exceptionally rare collector's item, impressing with both the combination of minerals and the quality and aesthetics of the crystal formation. A piece that immediately stands out as special in any discerning collection and also makes a strong visual impact as a solitaire.
