Description from the seller
Lotto Fascism
Enamel badge of the G.F. Giovani Fasciste made by Lorioli.
Measurement: 2 cm by 1.5 cm.
Document of the Fasci Femminili of Genoa, Fascist Youth Group, with an authentic signature, not a stamp, by Olga Medici del Vascello, a Politician of the National Fascist Party.
In 1930, the national leadership of the Fascist Women's Organization, the Fasci Femminili, remained vacant after Angiola Moretti.
Until 1937, when the national supervision committee was established, there were only leaders of the local sections, in which Clara Franceschini and Giuditta Stelluti Scala Frascara were appointed inspectors by Achille Starace in a shared leadership position.
In 1938, they were followed by four others, one of whom was Olga Medici del Vascello.
Being a member of the Fasci Femminili or of the women's groups under their aegis was the only way for a woman to be part of the Fascist Party, which otherwise excluded women from all formal positions within the party.
In 1941, she participated in the international conference of Fascist women in Nazi Germany, which was attended by fascist women's organizations from Germany, Italy, and Spain.
In April 1942, she received the general secretary of the Spanish female Francoist organization to facilitate closer collaboration between the organizations.
The document measures 28 cm by 21.5 cm.
With the stamp of the PNF.
