Val Saint Lambert - Charles Graffart & René Delvenne - Vase - Igor - Glass

Art deco vase, model 'Igor', from the Luxval collection of the Belgian glass and crystal factory Val Saint Lambert in Belgium. Designed by Charles Graffart and Rene Delvenne. The vase features richly detailed geometric decoration, is violet-colored, and displays a stunning optical effect.

The vase is described in the 1935 catalog featuring the overview of Luxval production (see illustrations). The vase is marked at the bottom in the material with Val St Lambert Belgique (see photo).

The vase is in very good used condition with only normal to minor signs of aging. Small enclosed glass bubbles and glass threads are typical for the manufacturing process of that time.

The height is approximately 20.5 cm, and the diameter of the vase rim is 15 cm.
