Imposing Art Deco vase produced by Ludwig Moser & Söhne, Carlsbad, which can be attributed to Josef Hoffmann (1870-1956) for Wiener Werkstätte around 1922. As was customary in that period, these vases were not signed.

The vase is designed with vertically twelve-faceted cut glass, and the color is an exceptionally soft blue-gray that strongly resembles the Blue Pompeii, which was used in the same period by the Belgian Val Saint Lambert for its Art Deco range.
