Beautiful original entomological display case with six real, prepared exotic butterflies from Africa, Asia, and the American continent. The butterflies are carefully positioned and exhibited in a classic wooden frame with glass, creating a stylish and decorative ensemble.
The collection contains the following scientific species (as listed on the original label at the back):
• Charaxes lucretius – Africa
• Papilio demodocus – Myanmar
Papilio dardanus – Equatorial Africa to South Africa.
Danaus limniace – from Canada to Mexico.
• Charaxes tiridates – Africa
Heliconius erato petiverana – Amazon basin to Mexico
These species are well known within entomology for their color patterns, evolution, and mimicry. The display case is suitable as a decorative object, collectible, or educational material.
