The lamp you received is the lamp I offered that is in the photo. It is a unique lamp. To prevent damage to the glass sleeves, I unscrewed them and enclosed them well-packed in a separate box. If the screw ball does not exactly reach the hole in the tube when screwing, you can push the perforated iron cylinder slightly to the side so that it comes together. This should be easy to fix. When unscrewing I also had to push it slightly to the side. Good luck with this beautiful lamp.

Dear Muriel.  This is a touch lamp.  The lamp turns on when it is placed on a table or cupboard and you tap the lamp base with your hand.  Tap brighter light again or off mode.  If the lamp still does not work, the light bulb must have failed during transport.  Enjoy these beautiful designer lamps.  Kind regards, Henk

Unique Objects

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
