The Quinta do Vale Meão 2011 comes from a rigorous selection of grapes produced in the oldest vineyards of the Quinta. This vintage received the award for 4th best wine in the world in 2014 from Wine Spectator magazine. A combination of several grape varieties, with emphasis on Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão in smaller percentages. With foot treading in granite lagares, fermentation in vats and subsequent aging for 16 to 18 months in wooden barrels.
